The demand of Oil generally in the region and particularly in Pakistan is increasing owing to upsurge in industrialization and mobility.
The role of Oil industry in the country for economic development is vital as the consumption of petroleum products is increasing by almost
5% per annum. Pakistan imports annually almost 11 mn. Finished and refined oil products. Pakistan China Economic Corridor, construction of
motorways coupled with more dependency on travelling by road will further increase the oil demand.
